OH man, I tried a homemade pumpkin pie for the 1st time that was made from a actual real pumpkin. It was soooo good and fresh. My family usually buys the can
of pumpkin, so I was never aware of how good the real thing tasted like. Has anyone ever made a pumpkin pie from a real pumpkin before? I want to give it a try
this year and see how successful I can come up. :-p

My grandmother used to make them from the pumpkin but I've never tried ... there definitely is a difference in taste.

sorry ... my grandmother never wrote down one single recipe ... can you imagine. She died when she was 101. She made the best tea biscuits ever .... Everything
was a pinch of that, a pinch of this. I'll check my cookbooks though and see if I can find any for you.
